I was reading a lot of stories on foxnews.com, and one in particular stood out to me. It's about a problem that Florida is currently facing. Apparently, thousands of giant snails are taking over the state. They have been "attacking over 50 species of plants" and "their slime and excrement are coating the walls and pavement." I don't think I could handle seeing giant slime slugs slithering around all over my town. If I was the governor I would make this issue my number one priority and get it fixed as soon as possible.
Florida has been working relentlessly to try and solve this issue. Authorities are "expanding a series of ads across the state urging people to look out" and "seeking the best ways to eradicte the mollusks, including the use of a stronger bait approved recently by the federal government." These are great ideas, but I think I have a solution to Florida's problem... I will send them my little brother, Teva. I made an instant connection with this story as I read it. It reminded me of when my brother and I were younger, I would always see him outside in mom's garden pouring salt on little snails. It only took them about 8 seconds to die. After mom kept seeing little dead things in her garden, she told Teva that he would have to clean them up with a trash bag because she couldn't handle seeing them. So, obviously he's the best person for the job because he knows how to kill them AND my mom will make him clean them up after he's done. :)

Too much chocolate....
I was reading an article on foxnews.com about some thieves that apparently stole approximately 5 tons of Nutella. Now, if you're not sure what Nutella is.. It's a delicious chocolate and hazelnut spread. The passage says that the thieves "might have some sticky fingers." This reminded me of the time when my friend and I baked cakes for a Spanish project. The project was to make a dish that showed the main foods that the ancient Mayans used to eat. Their main food was chocolate. When we were icing our Devil's Food cake we got chocolate EVERYWHERE. I never thought we were going to get it cleaned up, but after lots of "sticky fingers" we somehow managed to get everything squeaky clean. After a trip to Walmart, I think all together we spent about twenty bucks on just chocolate. In the article, it says that the thieves stole around $20,000 worth of nutella. Thats an insane amount of hazelnut spread, but after eating all that chocolate icing, I'd say we're just as bad as the Nutella thieves. http://www.foxnews.com/world/2013/04/08/sticky-fingers-thieves-steal-5-tons-nutella-chocolate-spread-from-600-in/
